Two major shifts inspired us to act:

- The AI revolution is leaving many behind: As automation accelerates, millions face job displacement. Yet there's a shortage of over 150,000 data scientists in the U.S. alone. The need for accessible AI education and retraining has never been more urgent.

Who We Are
Founded by Dr. Weiqing Gu, a McAlister Professor at Harvey Mudd College and former Program Director at the National Science Foundation (NSF), Global AI Mining brings together deep expertise in mathematics, machine learning, and education.
Dr. Gu has:
- Published over 36 research papers in machine learning, geometry, and control theory.
- Built anomaly detection systems for the U.S. Navy and Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
- Presented her research to the U.S. Congress and was featured in Forbes for her innovative AI education programs.
